Universitas Islam Indonesia (UII) Unit*
* This fee is only payable if you want to complete the unit with UII, which is only available for internship programs of four or more weeks.
It includes all facets of the internship unit; from enrolment to the issue of a result.
What's Included in the Group and Individual Programs?
- All work regarding the sourcing of internship sites and our best efforts to ensure that they are suitable to your requirements and that there is sufficient, interesting and appropriate work for you to go on with.
- A social budaya visa, which is valid for up to 6 months ^.
- A resident 'Yogya Expert' and his team, that will meet you at the airport, be present on day trips and be contactable 24 hours a day to help solve problems that arise.
- All of your accommodation°.
- All transport costs for events organized by Indonesian Internships, including airport pick up and drop off and transport between your accommodation and work each day.
- A one year membership with the Australia-Indonesia Business Council (AIBC). This is fantastic for networking and finding Indonesia related jobs in a variety of industries!
- Transport and entry costs of all weekend activities.
- Various special meals, including some samples of local cuisines.
What Costs Aren't Included in the Programs?~
- Flight (Including all taxes, this is usually around AUD 1,300).
- Travel Insurance (About AUD 150 per month of insurance taken).
- The majority of meals (These vary according to taste, between about AUD 1.50 per meal for Indonesian street food (which is delicious) to about AUD 6 per meal for basic Western meals).
- Souvenirs.
- Any extra trips you decide to take independently.
^ The visa is initally valid for 2 months, but can be extended on a month by month basis. There is a fee for extensions, which will be borne by participants.
° Basic, but clean and comfortable accommodation will be provided. If participants wish to upgrade, this can be arranged with participants paying the difference between the amount for the accommodation provided and the upgrade.
~ There may be extra costs that we have not included here, and costs provided are only estimates, and vary with fluctuations in prices and exchange rates.
