For people with an interest in Indonesia, there is no substitute for an in country internship experience, working alongside Indonesians and completing tasks relevant to Indonesian companies and NGOs. However, we have noted how difficult it can be to organize such an experience from outside of the country, and particularly to ensure that the host organization will be ready to accept you and keep you busy with relevant and interesting tasks for the duration of your time there.

Therefore, the primary function of the Indonesian Internships programs is to take this off your hands. We have strong relationships with a number of very reputable organizations in the Yogyakarta area and are able to select an organization that matches your skills, interests and ambitions as closely as possible. We then work with the organization prior to your arrival to develop a program for you to ensure that you get the most out of your time there. We can also place you with an organization that will be able to help you prepare your papers and then assist you in getting them published in Indonesian media.

Although this is by no means a luxury travel organization (you will be spending the majority of your time with your respective employers, accommodation is not 5 star, and you are bound to come across numerous demanding challenges during your internship period!!!), we aim to offer the support that you need to see through such a challenge..... As well as organizing all facets of your internship placement, we provide you with a Social Budaya Visa (meaning that you can stay in Indonesia for up to six months), we provide you with accommodation and trips to places of interest around Yogyakarta and we have a friendly 'Yogya Expert' representative with their phone on 24 hours a day to help resolve any problems that may come up.
